WHAT DOES MY LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE COVER? 

The Lifetime Guarantee covers the workmanship of any M Coat product. This includes, but is not limited to, zippers, clasps, stitching, and snaps. Please note that the Limited Lifetime Guarantee does not apply to any defects caused as a result of misuse, accidental circumstances or long-term wear. In the case of a Lifetime Guarantee repair, please bring your garment to your authorized M Coat dealer for processing, or if you have purchased your garment online, please email hello@themcoat.com with the subject line – WARRANTY REQUEST.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY DAMAGE MY JACKET?

Occasionally, silly things happen, and we end up with a tear or stain that is likely to render the coat ruined.  While this is not covered under Warranty, we may be able to offer some assistance to repair the jacket.  The cost will depend on the nature of the repair.  Email photos and explanation to hello@themcoat.com with the subject line – HELP!

IS MY M COAT WASHABLE?

Yes, it is machine washable and dryable, except for the fur trim.  Remove the fur trim (if applicable), and follow all wash instructions inside the coat.  Down products have specific instructions to follow.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We would be happy to coordinate an exchange for you on regular priced items. Sale items are final sale. No refunds. You can read more about Shipping and our policies here.

WHAT IF I LOSE A PIECE OF MY COAT? (i.e. Belt/Panel)

As our down coats are only made in sets (jacket and panel), there are no “extra panels” conveniently lying around. In the event that this happens, we implore you to try, try again to find it as there is a lot of time and cost involved to remake this custom panel – something we’d rather not have to do (as it takes away from our production time) and we’d also rather you not have to pay for.

In the event of a lost belt, you can contact us to see if we have some extras lying around. The cost of a replacement belt is $20.00 CAD, but there is no guarantee of a colour/dye match to your jacket (though we will do our best).
